Since it was founded in 2011, CLM Global has provided private investors, governments, commodities traders, and capital markets analysts with world class research, analysis, and project consulting.  Since its inception, CLM Global has built a network of industry experts across various international markets and sectors.  Owing to the background of its founder, CLM Global successfully conducts business in austere environments by developing unique and detailed plans for each individual situation, and implementing those plans with tenacity and pointed focus until the objective is achieved.

CLM Global was developed specifically to help investors capitalize on opportunities in high-growth markets that can produce above average returns, but where perceived barriers to entry discourage or inhibit the deployment of capital.  By managing the considerations specific to emerging and frontier markets, CLM Global helps clients produce superior risk-adjusted returns by capitalizing on opportunities by mitigating unsystematic and business risk.

CLM Global has expert networks that span Sub-Saharan Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia, and has experience in dealing with the cultural and legal frameworks in these various locations.  Working with CLM Global means that our clients are never alone and always have an experienced partner to help advise, research, and manage their interests in the most difficult of environments.

CLM GLOBAL'S STRATEGIES ENHANCE INFORMATION FLOW AND TRANSPARENCY, INCREASING RISK-ADJUSTED RETURNS AND PROVIDING SOLID FUNDAMENTAL DATA FOR DECISION MAKERS.

ABOUT CLM GLOBAL

ABOUT The founder

CLM Global was founded by Chris Merendino after an 8 year career as a Navy SEAL.  Drawing on his experience in dealing with foreign governments and officials, coupled with his formal education in finance, Chris began advising investors and project developers on ways to invest in frontier markets. His experience soon led him to manage and develop several companies in different sectors and regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, including renewable energy, mining, transportation and logistics, and physical commodities trade.  Chris has led companies through M&A transactions and has developed investment strategies in emerging capital markets as well as in developed countries.

Chris holds a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Finance, a Series 65 license, a Series 3 license, and is a candidate for the 2018 Level III CFA exam.  Chris also serves as a mentor in several organizations offering advice and scholarship assistance to veterans transitioning from military careers into the civilian business world.
